Join the APA!

While some membership cards require you to be able to jump the cue ball, bank it off three rails and sink the 8-Ball blindfolded, getting an APA Membership Card is much easier.

Having fun, meeting new people and playing pool is what the APA is all about.. You don't have to be a pool shark, because in the APA -- everyone can play and anyone can win. The APA wants beginners and novices, because it is the AMATEUR Poolplayers Association. No other organization in pool gives ordinary players a chance to win a share of nearly $1.5 MILLION guaranteed cash and prizes paid out through its national tournaments.

How does the APA do it? It uses The Equalizer® handicap system to determine the amount of games a player has to win in order to capture the match. It allows a novice to win less games than a more-skilled opponent to win a match.

We have Masters Divisions, Ladies Divisions as well as a Double Jeopardy Division in the works so if you are interested please call our office at 413-322-8307 and let us know! We currently have 8 and 9 Ball Divisions Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday. How about a Friday night division? Couples only? Let us know if you would like to be part of a new division in your area and we can make that happen!
New and existing players must have 4 plays to compete in Local Playoffs and Tri-Cups. All players must have 4 plays in the Spring Session and a total of 10 lifetime plays in order to compete at the Local Team Championship/State Cup and the World Team Championships in Vegas. THE ONLY WAY A TEAM CAN GAIN ELIGIBILITY TO THE CHAMPIONSHIPS IS BY THEIR PERFORMANCE IN REGULAR WEEKLY PLAY. The top teams of each session will advance to Tri-Cup competition for an opportunity to win placement in the LTC/State Cup. Please see playoff breakdowns based on division size in our Rules & Bylaws Section on this site.
